When labor markets are tight and economic conditions are uncertain, people tend to stay put until they feel conditions have improved enough to consider a job change. Even when labor markets loosen and the economy improves, a lot of people will only consider a job change when they are presented an opportunity so good, they feel they have to consider it.
We work with you to customize an alignment methodology that will enable us to consider more than just qualifications and experience as we recruit the person(s) who will be a good fit. Then we find them in our candidate registry and/or attract new candidates. Then we assess them, vet them, place them, and if you'd like, keep up with them on the job to ensure they have what they need to continue to perform well... and stay.
Recruiting Options

Fee for Hire/Contingency: Nexstep is paid only if we successfully place a candidate. Typically, we charge a percentage of the candidates projected earnings, using 3 different price points, based on how "easy" or resource intensive our search is. We try to be as economical as possible because we'd like for you to use us more than once!

Retained Services: Nexstep is paid an upfront fee (retainer) to search for candidates, regardless of the outcome. We work with you to establish a budget and time frame and customize a search plan within it. Our customers utilize this option to build up candidate pools and build and administer PRN/ sub pools. Typically, more time and resources are invested into these searches, but the upfront fee also buys the employer all of Nexstep's work product (candidate records).

Fee for Service(s): The employer pays Nexstep on an hourly basis, or on a monthly budget, to support/ handle part of (or all of) their recruiting and selection processes. Our customers have utilized this option when they need to scale their hiring efforts or need to augment their internal HR team.

Approve The Implementation Plan
You'll receive a work-up of our proposal and a draft agreement. Then we'll call and or email to work through questions and tweaks. Then we'll send a finalized agreement and implementation plan for your approval.
