When labor markets are tight because there is a shortage of qualified candidates, we can offer pay and position flexibility without you having to compromise your employment guidelines.  When labor markets loosen, and people have more job choices, again, we can offer flexibility to attract staff in ways you may not be geared to offer.

Either way, we have the recruiters and operational capacity to add staff and maintain staffing levels for positions and departments that are hard to staff.  Regardless of how staffing is affected - by shifts in labor market supply and/or customer demand - we can ensure you will have the staff you need, doing what you need done.

We work with you to customize an alignment methodology that will enable us to consider more than just qualifications and experience of the person(s) who we will employ to provide services for you, but who will also be a good fit to your organization. Then we find them in our candidate registry and/or attract new candidates. Then we assess them, vet them, orient them, and keep up with them on the job to ensure they have what they need to continue to perform well... and stay, for as long as you'll have them.

Contract Staffing Options

  • Temp to Perm: Workers are initially hired by Nexstep with the possibility of being hired as an employee by the employer. Our customer shave utilized this option to assess a candidate's fit before making a permanent hiring decision. Typically, we charge a percentage of the candidates projected earnings, with consideration given to the amount of time you've been paying a contract staffing fee. We try to be as economical as possible because we'd like for you to use us more than once!

  • Managed Staffing: The organization pays Nexstep per hours worked by Nexstep staff or per the unit of service delivered. our customers utilize this option because we have the recruiters and operational capacity to add staff and maintain staffing levels for positions and departments that are hard to staff on an ongoing basis. We also manage the staff and their work product to provide administrative and infrastructure support to the person(s)/ department. We also provide key indicator and performance reporting so that our customers can rest assured that what they need is being delivered, with the highest quality, and on-time. 

  • Project Staffing: Nexstep provides workers based on formal agreement or statement of work, outlining the specific deliverables, timelines, and milestones for a project. Our customers utilize this option because we are able to draw on our internal talent and preferred contractor relationships to mobilize teams that are structurally aligned before starting the project. We have supported sales and customers service initiatives, program start-ups, and software implementations.
